Paris, sigh!

So we haven't been blogging much of late but I promise this is going to change.  After a recent trip to Europe, there were a lot of photos to trawl through but finally they are organised.  We did more bikeling than expected overseas but it is a great way to see a city if the infrastructure is there to support cycling.  So anyhoo, our first stop was Paris.  While we didn't ride around the actual city (due to the ease of the metro in fulfilling our transport needs), I did get pics of bikeling life in Paris.  Enjoy!

This was quite literally the first bike-related picture I took in Paris... Wow, wow, wow.  Paris, I am in love.

So Paris, I am sorry we didn't ride around your beautiful buildings.  Your public transport was too efficient.. So I say confidently... Next time!
We did however do a bike tour of the Palace of Versailles.  Call it cheesy if you will but actually considering how big the grounds of Versailles is, bike is the best way to see more and saves your feet.  Plus we had a superb day!

The tour bikes all lined up, while we shopped at the Versaille Village markets.  Oh Yum YUM!

The other option to see the grounds is the Segway.  Which looks amazingly dorky and awkward...
And you have to wear a helmet... What??

Meet Johan, our lovely bike tour guide.  We travelled all the way to Paris and booked this bike tour, only to have Johan from the Eastern suburbs of Sydney show us around... Oh well, a little bit of the familiar.

Gambling den.. I mean the hobby farm *cough cough*.

 Look at those tree-lined avenues!

Here I am, suitably impressed!

S-boy had a cheerily good time!

Our French wine, delicious.  From the estate of Christopher Lambert... Just because.

Having the best baguette of my life with the best brie cheese, salami and other lovely delicacies...

Palace time!

We were only in Paris for 4 days but I got plenty of bike-related pics as you can see.  Our next stop/blog?  AMSTERDAM BABY!  Coming soon...
